Field Trips
Kathy’s Pumpkin Patch is where you need to bring
your class or home schooled group for their next fall
field trip! Our field trip packages are loaded with lots
of fun and hands-on educational experiences. For $5.00
per child and $2.00 per adult chaperone, (educator’s are
free) you can choose from a variety of different educational
activities you would like your class to participate in, in order
to meet your curriculum and individual needs. Our packages
includes: a short 10-15 minute hands-on lesson on how pumpkins
and gourds grow, a wagon ride, a stop at the pick your own patch
where each student can pick his/her own pumpkin to take home,
a walk through one of our mazes, play time in the giant corn
pool, play houses, obstacle course, rubber ducky races, and
bean bag toss. Feel free to stay an hour or stay the day!
We have lots of picnic areas available so we invite your class
to stay for lunch and enjoy a picnic at the farm.
New 2008 Curriculum folders are also available for purchase to our
educators at the time of your visit. Each curriculum folder is $6.00 and is
loaded with a variety of agriculture activities that are appropriate for
ages Pre-K - 6th grade. Along with each curriculum folder, each educator
will receive one pumpkin, squash, luffa sponge gourd or birdhouse gourd and
