September 6-7 Opening Weekend
Come see everything new that Kathy’s Pumpkin Patch has
to offer this year! Be the first to experience our new “bigger
and better” 10 acre corn maze and try our new potato
sack races! Also, enjoy all the returning favorite activities
from Harvestville and our horse drawn scenic wagon
rides.
September 13-14 Decorate With Us! Decorate your own grapevine wreath for the fall season with the help of our creative staff. We have a variety of wreath sizes available along with a wide assortment of silk and dried flowers/berries /and ribbons to choose from. Need something fresh for fall at your home or office? Let us show you our bundles of decorative stalks or broom corn, bittersweet clumps, or bring your empty flower pots, and we’ll help you create a unique autumn filled pot to greet guests and family at your door.
September 20-21 Apple Birdhouse Days and Longenberger Baskets
Create a birdhouse from our wide assortment of gourds.
Choose the shape and size you like, and our staff will help
you create a perfect home for a visiting wren or purple martin.
We provide the tools and gourds—you supply the creativity!
This weekend we’ll feature Longenberger baskets, and a
representative will be at the Patch both days from
11:00 -4:00 p.m. to help you choose just the right basket to
celebrate the season!
Saturday, September 20 ADULTS ONLY NIGHT!
Join us for our 2nd annual Adults Only Night where adults can
act like kids! From 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. adults can enjoy
all the festivities at the patch! Who said an adult can’t
swim in the corn pool or be competitive in the rubber ducky
races? This night is exclusively for adults to just have fun
and play. Bonfires, wagon rides, and even our 10 acre maze will
be up and running throughout the evening, along with our gift
shop and produce tent. So hire a babysitter and schedule your
next date night at the patch!
September 27-28 Squash-The Secret Ingredient Tasting Party Always wanted to cook with squash, but never knew where to start? Come sample a variety of dishes using fresh fall vegetables, pumpkins, squash, and Watkins products. Free recipes for everyone! Watkins products available for sale or order. 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday
October 4-5 Luffa Soap
Turn your everyday shower into a spa experience. Come
and learn how to dry and prepare a luffa sponge for use in your
shower or bath. Better yet – make and pour your
own scented luffa sponge soap with the help of our staff.
Appropriate for all ages!
Every Saturday night in October our “Moonlight
Maze” will be open from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.! Test
your nerves as you brave the dark in hopes to make it through
our 10 acre corn maze. If you thought our maze was tricky during
the day, wait until you tackle this challenge! Remember to bring
your own flashlight! We reserve the right to refuse admission
to any person
October 11-12 Pumpkin Painting A pumpkin is not complete without a scary, happy, or a crazy face! Use your artistic skills and decorate a pumpkin that you’ll want to keep in your house long after the season is over! A medium sized pumpkin, paints, and brushes are available for use. October 18 (Saturday Only!) Air Evac and Community Days Air Evac, Donnellson Fire Department, DARE, Lee County Ambulance, and Donnellson Police will all be here with their helicopter, vehicles, and equipment. Children and adults can take this opportunity to meet and thank local area emergency responders. 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. October 25-26 Dried Hardshell Gourds Learn how to dry one of our beautiful hardshell gourds. Choose one of our already dried gourds and we’ll teach you how to properly clean and finish it with a beautiful highlighted shine. October 31 Pumpkin Glow How many carving friends does the pumpkin patch have? Too many to count! Come and walk thru our lighted carved pumpkin displays and celebrate the season with us! |
